Intermedia artist (b. 1989, Bielsko-Biała, Poland) MA in Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and teacher in the Art Faculty at Pedagogical University in Krakow.
He develops the project of Performative Environments which are spaces that encourage audience to actively react to them and creatively impact them through the side specific installations – that are used as tools by participants of happenings. He seeks the harmony between action, space and their users. By increasing their mutual relations, he aims to cause audience’s unforced need for expression and interaction with the environment. The main purpose of Performative Environments is to signify the potential of places in which they function, and give spectators the opportunity to use it creatively.
Experience gained through executing intermedia projects and exhibitions helps him work on theater spectacles. He deals with creating concepts and production of scenography, video and visual identification of shows – posters and logos.
Scholarship holder in the field of culture and art of the city of Bielsko-Biała. Laureate of the New Krakow Scholarship for performance art and theater artists, conducted by the New Theater Association in Krakow. He has presented his works in festivals, galleries and public spaces in Germany, England, Poland and Portugal, such as: Fábrica Braço de Prata in Lisbon, Grimmuseum in Berlin, Instituto Cervantes in Warszawa, Bunkier Sztuki in Krakow. He collaborated on creating theater spectacles in Bagatela Theater and New Theater in Krakow.
